Let me tell you a little bit about myself...
I am Lisa Edwards, a Personal Trainer working in Christchurch, here to motivate you and help you achieve your Health and Fitness goals, while having fun and helping you to do more than you ever thought you could!
“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” - so I am here to help you take that first step, and from there on…you can achieve anything!
Over the past 8 years, health and fitness has found its way in to my life. I had depression, was overweight, unhappy, sick all of the time, and rather inactive. I had very low self-esteem, and therefore I was always too nervous to go to a gym, workout in front of others, or try anything new. In my early twenties, I decided to get to a gym and after months of seeing no results, I decided to get a Personal Trainer.
She worked hard to help me to gain my confidence, and to realise that I actually could achieve whatever I wanted to achieve, and I discovered that I could do a lot more in the gym than I thought I was ever able to! She helped me to achieve my goals, which, in turn meant that I was happy, healthy and fit, and a lot of health issues I had previously, had disappeared!
Since then, health and fitness has become an integral part of my life. I now ENJOY exercise, and I like to try new things as often as possible! I play club netball, go to the gym regularly, have run my first half marathon, enjoy yoga, and have lots more goals that I want to achieve too!
Becoming a Personal Trainer has helped me to instill in others, the same sense of achievement, confidence, and love of life that I gained through adding exercise and good nutrition into my life... and I LOVE it! I can't wait to help YOU to achieve your goals!
