What is the 20 Week Challenge?The 20 Week Challenge is a transformation challenge with structure and support to achieve your health, fitness and weight loss goals. This is growing every year, and this year will be in its 15th series. The next challenge starts 30th April 2018. Want to get started early? You can start with the Early Starters Challenge from February 14th 2018.
Would you like to be stronger, faster or fitter? Be more adventurous? Have an injury that you'd like to overcome? How about more flexible or have better balance? You can do ALL of this, in the challenge! You get to choose 2 categories out of 13, that you would like to improve in over the 20 weeks. There are then 3 that you automatically get entered in, and another 9 that you could possibly be eligible for as well! It is based around support and encouragement, where myself, and your team mates (other challengers), will work together and support you through the whole way. The challenge runs through Winter, which is usually when people lack motivation, so it's a great way to stay motivated, while having the support of a PT and of all of the other challengers along the way. How does it work?You can register here, any time from now, until the 21st May, for just $159. (Early Bird rate of $119 applies until 1st April
From there, we will do your initial consultation, which will involve going over your exercise and medical history, goal setting, and a movement screen, and then a fitness testing session, based around the categories that you have entered - and including measurements and photos You will also receive an exercise and nutrition diary to fill in throughout the challenge. This will help to keep you accountable, and also give me an idea of where you are at each week. This will all help me to write a personalised exercise routine for you, including scheduled one on one sessions, one group session per week, and exercise plans for the other days of the week. You will also receive weekly e-mails with ideas, tips, competitions, and information on the 3 individual and 3 team challenges that are also on throughout the 20 weeks - these are completely optional, but are also definitely recommended for best results! At 10 weeks, and the end of the 20 weeks, we will also do further fitness tests to measure your progress, and adjust your training plan accordingly. |
